FAQ
Online therapy offers unique benefits, like convenience, participating in therapy from the comfort of your own environment, and eliminating the need for transportation. There are also some things to keep in mind. In in-office therapy, the therapist provides a quiet, private, and comfortable setting. In order to get the most out of our time together, you will need a private space where we can meet one on one online. It is important that family members, office mates, or the general public do not interrupt your personal work. To limit technical difficulties, you will also need an internet connection strong enough to support video conferencing.

EMDR is efficient and requires fewer sessions than traditional talk therapy. Some individuals want to do a particular piece of work for a series of weeks or a few months and then move on. Others may have larger themes they want to explore and address with EMDR. For all clients, earlier sessions are dedicated to preparation of outside supports and development of self-management skills to help with a smooth process as you begin to work on your content.
My fee is $125 for a 50-minute session, and $175 for the 90-minute initial intake session. I accept all major credit/debit cards which are uploaded to your secure client portal for payment. I also accept HSA and FSA cards.
